D-Link Joins Hands With McAfee to Offer Free Anti-Virus Package

D-Link India, a networking company, and McAfee, a security technology company, have teamed up to provide their customers a safe high speed internet access solution. Customers buying select D-Link broadband routers will now come with 90 days free McAfee VirusScan Plus.



As part of Safe-Link initiative, D-Link has simultaneously introduced a new ADSL2/2+ Router - GLB-802C so that buyers can immediately capitalize on this offer. The Safe-Link combo offer would be a key part of its broadband strategy.

GLB-802C is a versatile, high-speed router supporting up to 24Mbps download speed and firewall protection with SPI. The combo offer with free McAfee anti-virus 90 day package will enable first time broadband users to go live right from the start with secure high speed access through a broadband router that provides all the functions that a home or small office needs to establish a link to the outside world.
